Only birther “experts” have called Obama’s birth certificate forged, and they have not shown that they are even experts, much less fair and impartial. Those are two reasons why they are not believed by Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck or the National Review (or by Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan or Gingrich or Santorum or Huckabee).
One proof that Obama’s birth certificate is not forged is Obama’s short-form birth certificate.
Short-form birth certificates are created by a clerk reading the information from the document in the file, and filling out the computer form that generates the printed short-form birth certificate. The officials in Hawaii have confirmed that they sent a short-form to Obama. So, unless they are lying—and they were Republican officials–the only way that Obama’s birth certificate could have been forged was that it was forged in 2007 and slipped into the file just before the clerk looked at the file. That is not very likely, is it? And it is especially unlikely since at the time Obama was not even the candidate of the Democrats. He was still in the primaries at the time, and he was only a junior senator from Illinois.
And birther sites have not shown you these real experts.
Dr. Neil Krawetz, an imaging software analysis author and experienced examiner of questioned images, said:“The PDF released by the White House shows no sign of digital manipulation or alterations. I see nothing that appears to be suspicious.”
Nathan Goulding with The National Review: “We have received several e-mails today calling into question the validity of the PDF that the White House released, namely that there are embedded layers in the document. There are now several other people on the case. We looked into it and dismissed it.… I’ve confirmed that scanning an image, converting it to a PDF, optimizing that PDF, and then opening it up in Illustrator, does in fact create layers similar to what is seen in the birth certificate PDF. You can try it yourself at home.”
John Woodman, independent computer professional, who is a member of the Tea Party (who says that he hates Obama’s policies but found no evidence of forgery) said repeatedly in his book and in various articles on his Web site that the claims that Obama’s birth certificate was forged were unfounded.
Ivan Zatkovich, who has testified in court as a technology expert, and consultant to WorldNetDaily:“All of the modifications to the PDF document that can be identified are consistent with someone enhancing the legibility of the document.” And, by the way, when WND received Zatkovich’s article that said that he found nothing wrong with Obama’s birth certificate, WordNDaily simply did not publish it.
Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator, said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software — not evidence of a forgery.“I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippings—and it looks exactly like this,” he said.
Birthers’ claim that Obama’s birth certificate is false is well understood to be caused by their own motives—they hate Obama and would like to harm him.
And it is irrational (to say the least) to think that Obama’s relatives had enough money (Obama’s grandfather was just a furniture salesman and his grandmother a low-level employee in a bank at the time; and his father came to Hawaii on a free flight) or crazy enough to spend LOTS of money on a long and expensive and risky (incidents of stillbirths were high at the time) overseas trip for their pregnant daughter—–when there were perfectly good hospitals in Honolulu, Hawaii.
(Oh, and the government of Kenya has said that it investigated the “born in Kenya” claim, and that it did not happen.)
Obama’s birth certificate is not forged. Only birther “experts” claim that it is forged and by far most of them have not shown that they are really experts, and NONE of them has shown she or he is impartial.
Gosh, Mike, thanks for telling me I could post here. The guy who runs Birther Report mercilessly censors everything I try to write there. Too many birthers are afraid of what I might have to say, which is silly.
For the record, Zullo the Clown is dead wrong when he says I’m a “navigator”. Instead, I’m a licensed health insurance agent and a certified Marketplace agent. He says I couldn’t pass a background check, but I was fingerprinted and given a background check by the NC Dept. of Insurance this summer. I suffered from severe depression from 1998 to 2000, but not since. He’s wrong about saying I suffer from mental problems today, too.
So he slandered me using the authority of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, and I suppose I could complain about that like RC did. But that would be like saying that anything Zullo the Clown says matters one way or the other. He and Carl are fond of saying that the Xerox evidence is “of no concern” but the truth is, Zullo the Clown is “of no concern” to President Obama. I doubt the president has ever heard his name. He’s simply too insignificant for me or anyone else to waste our time over.
So instead of filing any sort of official complaint, I quickly convened a fake criminal investigation and held a fake trial and convicted him of being a nobody. Then I sentenced him to be Mike Zullo for the rest of his natural life. That may seem harsh, but I think he deserves it, poor bunny.
Please advise Mike Zullo that he and Carl Gallups will be tried and found guilty in a Show Trial on R.C. Radio tomorrow night at 9 p.m. Eastern.
They have been found mentally unfit to testify in their own behalf, but that won’t stop us from convicting them again and again and then extraditing them to Kenya.
I was kicked out of the chat room last night, which was a very cowardly thing to do. I wasn’t being abusive, I wasn’t cussing or anything, in fact I was having a pleasant conversation with Martha. If you’re that afraid of Obots maybe the picture for your show on BlogTalkRadio should be a picture of you with a yellow stripe down your back.
I’ve been nothing but polite and respectful on your show. I really don’t understand why anyone would feel the need to ban me just because I don’t have the exact same opinions as you do.
Thanks for allowing my call last night, Mike. But honestly I can’t understand why y’all feel like you have to hang up on me so quick. As I said in the chat room, when I’m on the air I don’t cuss, I don’t interrupt, I’m polite and respectful, and I’m willing to answer anybody’s questions in a friendly, open way. It really does make my friends think y’all fear me. You’re in such a hurry to hang up on me even when I’m trying really hard to be the World’s Nicest Obot. Last night Bettina asked me about the 40 or so birther lawsuits and why Obama got them all dismissed instead of going to trial. You didn’t give me a chance to answer, but the truth is there have been 218 birther lawsuits so far, including Doug Vogt’s latest. Not 40. We keep very good track of all the birther lawsuits, of course. Bettina was a really angry person, but she wasn’t very well informed.
As far as why Obama doesn’t let them go to trial, you’ll have to let me speak on the air but I have a perfectly reasonable answer to it.
Have you talked to Walter Fitzpatrick? I know he’d love to be on your show with me and Sharon Rondeau. That would get you a big audience, you know it would!
Hey, good luck with the Sheriff’s Kits on Nov. 18 & 19 in our nation’s capital. I know you don’t believe me, but I’m very much in favor of a full congressional investigation of every single claim the birthers make. I just think it would come out different than you think it would. But I most sincerely do want an investigation.
